Using Your Browser for FTP
Microsoft FrontPage Users
Customers with Microsoft FrontPage extensions installed on their sites should use only the FrontPage publishing feature to transfer files. Using regular FTP can corrupt the extensions, disabling the functionality of the FrontPage web and requiring that the site be deleted to reinstall the extensions.
FTP is possible using your Microsoft Explorer or Netscape web browser. In the Address field of your browser, type the following command as shown in the image below. You will need to replace certain information with your specific account information.
format: ftp://userID:yourftppassword@yourdomainname.com
example: ftp://userID:xyz123@mywebsite.com
Note that if you set up a user with FTP Manager, your must append that username with .yourdomain.com such as: ftp://userID:mywebsite.com:xyz123@mywebsite.com
Netscape Browser

Next, click the Enter key on your keyboard. Your browser will open a window that includes all the files in your web site. To move files to the server, just drag and drop into the appropriate directories.
